Hi there! I’m Alyse
I have always loved experimenting with new mediums. Nothing makes me happier than creating art or going on an adventure! I value connection and love getting to know everyone I create with. I want to create art with people who are deeply connected to each other and the life they’re building.
I don’t classify myself as a vendor, I’m an artist making photographs with people!
Why i do what i do
Photos are a form of communication and connection. What we create will be the art that represents who you are at this point in life. Art gives us a way to express our identity, imagination, and emotions. I want the photos to preserve what you cared about and what inspired you.
We’re creating keepsakes that future generations will look back on to be more familiar with themselves and their families. I want them to be able to feel what you were like, to feel connected to a time they might not have even existed in.
MY FAVORITE THINGS
Cinema — Punch Drunk Love and Chungking Express are in my Letterboxd top 4!
Music (preferably live) - everything from jazz and funk to punk and shoe gaze
Self-care — Long walks with my dogs, hiking, writing, Scrabble
Third Spaces & Places — Museums, libraries, coffee shops, parks, listening bars
My Approach
Collaboration is at the core of all of my photos. I’m going to keep things simple to create space for your personality to shine. I believe that everyone has a creative side, and I want you to be comfortable enough to try new things.
We’re going to spend the day having experiences that feel authentic in a place that inspires you. The gallery should feel like moments of lost time, colorful and a little imperfect just like life.
