a fort worth elopement photographer

Hi there! I’m Alyse

I have always loved experimenting with new mediums. Nothing makes me happier than creating art or going on an adventure! I value connection and love getting to know everyone I create with. I’m not just showing up to take some photos, I’m creating art with people who are deeply connected to each other and the life they’re building.

I don’t classify myself as a vendor, I’m an artist making photographs with people!

Why i do what i do

Beyond taking photos, I care most about creating art that represents life, evokes emotion, and is visually vibrant. I prioritize an experience that feels calm and welcoming, creating space for authentic moments. I think imperfection is what makes something real, and I love working with people who are deeply connected to each other and the life they’re building together.

Photos are a form of communication and connection. What we create will be the art that represents where you’re at during this season. We’re creating keepsakes that future generations will look back on to be more familiar with themselves and their families. I want them to be able to feel what you were like, to feel connected to a time they might not have even existed in.

MY FAVORITE THINGS

  1. Movies — Punch Drunk Love and Chungking Express are in my Letterboxd top 4!

  2. Music (preferably live) — everything from jazz and funk to punk and shoe gaze

  3. Self-care — Long walks with my dogs, hiking, writing, Scrabble

  4. Third Spaces & Places — Museums, libraries, coffee shops, parks, listening bars

My Approach

Collaboration is at the core of all of my photos. I’m going to keep things simple to create space for your personality to shine. I believe that everyone has a creative side, and I want you to be comfortable enough to try new things.

We’re going to spend the day having experiences that feel authentic in a place that inspires you. The gallery should feel like moments of lost time, colorful and a little imperfect just like life.
